Background

Crypto Eigo's founder, Richard Conlon, hails from England and embarked on his international journey at the age of 17 when he relocated to the United States. Since then, he has led a globally nomadic lifestyle, with residences and professional engagements spanning several countries.

 

Upon his arrival in Japan, Richard commenced his career as an Assistant Language Teacher in Japanese Junior High Schools. His dedication and expertise swiftly propelled him into the roles of a Corporate Trainer and Talent Growth Specialist. In these capacities, he collaborated with esteemed clients, including renowned names such as McKinsey Consulting Company, Mitsubishi, AIG, Sato, Accenture, Actelion, Adecco, Cybozu, TIS, Toshiba, and others. His multifaceted experience and international perspective have undoubtedly enriched his endeavours in the world of education and beyond.

Richard's enduring connection with Westminster Group Plc (https://www.wg-plc.com) spans an extensive period, during which he has assumed diverse roles within the organization. Renowned as a globally trusted brand, Westminster specializes in providing strategic security solutions, managed services, and cutting-edge equipment, dedicated to ensuring the safety of individuals, securing assets, and fostering prosperity in burgeoning and high-growth markets worldwide. 

 

Despite his evolving professional journey, Richard continues to contribute his expertise to Westminster, particularly in the domain of Business Development Management. Notably, his Master's degree in Business Continuity, Security, and Emergency Management has proven instrumental in navigating the intricacies of this industry, solidifying his adeptness in delivering optimal solutions and strategies within the security landscape.

 

Crypto Journey 

Richard's initial encounter with Bitcoin dates back to 2013, although at that time, he did not fully grasp its potential. It wasn't until 2015 when he found himself teaching group classes for a technology company in Tokyo. As part of the curriculum, he assigned his students the task of delving into Bitcoin, exploring its workings, and evaluating its investment potential.  Remarkably, every student returned brimming with enthusiasm and optimism about the world of Bitcoin. Encouraged by their feedback, Richard decided to embark on a journey of deeper personal exploration, eventually making his maiden cryptocurrency purchase.

 

His commitment to understanding this transformative technology led him to enroll in an online course offered by the University of Nicosia in Cyprus, aptly titled "Introduction to Digital Currencies," which constitutes the first module of an MSc program. To this day, Richard diligently manages his personal crypto portfolio and remains devoted to researching every facet of the cryptocurrency industry.
